Bring it to your link shortener site and shorten it. Go to your social media like google+ and others. Talk of the news and leave the link for peoples to visit that information.

Unfortunately, i don't recommend for your online businesses like ebook selling website, stores and any ecommerce store including affiliate programs. This is because, it is likely a customer who is eager to buy from you can close your page when the ads of the link shortener becomes slow to load. They are ready to buy and after clicking, an advert different from what they are expected to see comes out. They will surely close it. Use it when you want to advertise with them rather.
